By now you probably get the point — Jeff Grass is a public relations professional here to connect with knowledgeable professionals.  And while that is true, there is much more to him than simply contributing to online content and discussions.  Well, this page will dig a little deeper and provide a brief overview of what else @JGrass has accomplished.

Okay, I will quit talking in the third-person — as I am sure you know someone else didn’t write this copy.  Still, as a public relations practitioner, I am used to writing for someone else.  Nevertheless, I thought it would be appropriate to go ahead and throw the “ghostwriting” mentality out the window for now.  There will be plenty of opportunities for me to engage in that timeless practice throughout my career.

I am a recent graduate of Webster University currently working at O’Malley Hansen Communications as a Public Relations Associate.   Through difficult leadership positions, I have developed a keen sense of responsibility, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to contribute to teamwork.

Initially, I planned to major in journalism, but found my versatility and generalist-nature really coincided with the practice of public relations.  Still, I love to write.  I love journalism.  I plan to go back to school and receive my master’s in journalism soon, but feel I would benefit more with additional experience in public relations.  With an enduring desire to succeed, I strive to achieve goals set for myself every day.

As a person driven by results, I am hardworking and resourceful.  By thinking creatively and embracing the entrepreneurial philosophy, I have learned to lead with little or no supervision.  It is my competitive drive and unyielding desire to succeed that keeps me going and allows me to engage those around me — enthusiasm, innovation and creativity are traits I will demonstrate to employers and colleagues.

I am actively involved in the social media movement and strongly believe in its usefulness as it relates to the practice of public relations.  When given the opportunity, I demonstrate my knowledge of these technologies and bring fresh ideas to the table daily.  I am open to any and all inquiries and always willing to connect with new people.
